The Foundation
Our History
Simply Prophetic Ministries did not begin with a building, a business plan, or a five-year strategy. It was unconventional, God-breathed, and divinely orchestrated from the very first gathering.​
What started as intimate home meetings quickly became a divine assignment. God began to move in ways no one anticipated. People who had disconnected from church, who felt lost and alone, found their way to those gatherings.
​
Souls on the brink of suicide, individuals wrestling with identity and sexuality, people bound by strongholds they thought would never break—they encountered the freedom and healing power of Jesus Christ through Simply Prophetic Ministries.
​The miracles and deliverances that took place in those meetings were undeniable. Lives were transformed. Hope was restored. Jesus revealed Himself in the most profound and unexpected ways, through Simply Prophetic Ministries, long before platforms, social media, or any pursuit of recognition. Our founders weren't chasing influence or building a brand. They were simply seeking the heart of God, and He met them there every single time.

After being ordained in October 1999, Pastor Taufiki and Prophetess Michele Lee held the first official worship service of Simply Prophetic Ministries that same month. The foundation had been laid years before, in prayers offered in their living room, in tears of repentance, in shouts of victory, and in the faithful presence of a God who never stops pursuing His people.

That foundation remains at the core of everything we do today. Simply Prophetic Ministries was birthed out of divine encounter, sustained by faithful obedience, and fueled by a relentless love for God's presence and His people.
Our Senior Leaders
Pastor Taufiki Enea Lee was born on January 7, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia, and was adopted as an infant by the late Thomas and Bertha Lee. He was raised in Forestville, Maryland, in a home saturated with worship and the rich sounds of gospel legends such as Tramaine Hawkins, Walter Hawkins, André Crouch, and Shirley Caesar—an atmosphere that helped shape his lifelong love for the presence of God.

Taufiki’s full bio
Prophetess Antoinette Michele Lee was born on February 6, 1969, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Horace M. Foster and Mildred Foster-Dixon. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public School system and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Coppin State College in December 2000.
